Furfuryl alcohol-based resins are used as binding agents
in foundry sand and as corrosion inhibitors in mortar,
grout, and cement. Because of their heat resistance,
furan resins are used in the manufacture of fiberglass-reinforced
plastic equipment. Derivatives of furfuryl alcohol (Chemical
Formula: C5H6O2) include
tetra hydro furfuryl alcohol, furane resins and organic
furfural.
Packing: 230 kg. Or 240 kg. Net weight steel drums
or in 25 metric ton tanks. One 20" FCL container
holds 80 drums.
